More than a store, your community partner.
Trust, loyalty and values – it takes more than low prices to earn your business. It means being a good community partner with people who care about the same things you do and do what they can to help. We call it Pamida Gives Back. And with this program, we do just what the name says: we give back to local organizations in the communities where we do business.
Since 2000, Pamida Gives Back has contributed more than $6.8 million to local charitable organizations. In 2010 alone, we awarded more than $1.1 million. Because every community is different, so are the ways they use Pamida Gives Back. For some, it’s providing much needed food and family resource centers or supporting local schools, libraries and youth centers. For others it’s helping seniors with meal and transportation programs.
So where does this money come from? It’s donated by the vendors and partners that supply Pamida with the products and services we offer at our stores. It’s given by the teammates who work in our stores. And it’s contributed through fundraising events by people like you who shop in their local Pamida stores.
