Wherever you find a Pamida store, you’ll find an organization of people who believe that strong communities are built with the support of everyone who lives and works in them. Throughout the year, your local Pamida store will participate in promotions that are part of an organization-wide effort as well as those that are unique to your community.
Because every community’s needs are different, so are the ways Pamida Gives Back. In fact, since 2000, Pamida has given more than $6.8 million to local charitable organizations, representing more than 950 nonprofit groups. In that time, we’ve also assembled answers to some of the most common questions we’re asked about our giving. The Pamida Foundation focuses on three key areas: educating youth in our communities, helping families in need and enhancing the quality of life for senior citizens.
To be considered for a grant from the Pamida Foundation, your organization must be a federally tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization, a school, a library or a public agency.
The Pamida Foundation will not fund causes, organizations or events in these categories:

Yes, the application form is available online; however, it must be accompanied by an IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter and a cover letter (on your organization's stationary if available).

The Pamida Foundation accepts applications throughout the year. Your application, along with all supporting documentation, must be received a minimum of 60 days in advance of a scheduled event to be considered.
Only organizations with a verified 501(c)(3) status, as determined by the Internal Revenue Service, are eligible for funding from the Pamida Foundation.
After Pamida has received your application and supporting documentation, you may be contacted to provide additional information. Once the committee has reviewed your request, you will receive notification of whether it has been approved or declined, usually within 60 days of submission.
